STK752 Datasheet The Inexpensive Interface Circuit shown in Figure 7 0ffers considerable parts reduction for cosl-sensitive applications where DC response is not required and loss of some power supply rejection is tolerable. The 200fl resistors bias the input to +4V and provide the current to the Zener diode to provide the reference bottom voltage. The l I,F capacitor decouples the input signal from the DC voltage present at the input of the ADC0881. The 10F and 0.1F capacitors, as well as the ferrite bead, provide power supply decou- pling. The lN5711 Schottky diodes are ior protection against oveNoltages at the input and are not required if these precautions are taken elsewhere in the circuit. STK752 Price The device controlling the transfer is a master, typically a processor or controller, and the device being controlled is the slave. The master will always initiate data transfers and provide the clock for both transmit and receive operations. Therefore, the CAT5241 will be considered a slave device in all applications.
