The Display Data RAM (DDRAM) is used to store the Disnlav Data which is represented as 8-bit character code. The Display Data RAM supports an extended capacity of 80 x 8-bits or 80 characters. The area in the DDRAM which are not used for display can be used as General Data RAM. For more details, please refer to the sections below.
