Enable Logic. The Enable input terminal allows external PWM. ENABLE high turns ON the selected sink- source pair, enable low switches offthe appropriate drivers and the load current decays. Ifthe ENABLE pin is held high, the current will rise until it reaches the level set by the internal current control circuit.

2 RXA Receive Analog Input. Analog input from the telephone network.
3 CAP Capacitor. Connect a O.1UF capacitor between Pin 3 and ground (VSS).

5 FIL Analog Input Control. A logical l selects the filte red input. A logical O selects the non-filtered input.
6 TEST Self-Test Mode Control. Normal operation when a logical O.A logical 1 places the device into the self-test mode. A low appears at RXD, to indicate a properly functioning device.
7 TX Transmitter Control. A logical O selects transmit mode. A logical l selects a stand-by condition forcing TXA to VDD/2 VDC.
