One endpoint pair is dedicated to endpoint zero, with separate EPO-IN and EPO-OUT buffers to simplify programming. Fourteen additional 64-byte buffers may be used as Bulk or Interrupt endpoints. These endpoints may also be double-buffered by using an endpoint paring mechanism. Double buffering allows the 8051 to access a packet as anotheris being transmitted or received over USB.
