N04325 Datasheet Notes: 1. A capacitor with a low temperature coefficient must be used as the EN DELAY delay capacitor. 2. The Vol and V02 0utput capacitors must have values of at least 100 pF and capacitors with low temperature coefficients must be used to prevent oscillation at low temperatures. 3. External noise can be suppressed and ripple rejection improved by adding capacitors between CNl and Vol and between CN2 and V02. Active Voltage Programming: Special precautions should be taken when making changes to the output voltage progam code while the unit is powered. This activi can induce current transients through the device as a result of the electrolytic output capacitors being either charged or discharged to the new output voltage set-point. The transient current can be minimized by making only incremental changes to the binary code, i.e. one LSB at a time. A mimmum of 100ps settling time between each program state is also recom- mended. Making non-mcremental changes to VID3 0r VID4 is discouraged. |
