They use complementary switches that convert 8-bit digital inputs into eq uivalent analog output voltages in propor- tion to the applied reference voltage. Each cell consists of a photodiode and a dummy diade, both with an associated junction capaci- tance. These diodes are connected through MOS multiplex switches to video and dummy recharge lines.
